Far-right anti-immigration killing in Italy

A far-right anti-immigration sympathizer of neo-fascist association CasaPound shocked Italy today when the killer shot dead two Senegalese street vendors in Florence before taking his life, according to the guardian.co.uk.

The police said that the killer,  Gianluca Casseri, 50, first shot dead the two Senegalese and wounded a third victim with a .357 Magnum at a crowded plaza in the outskirts of the city.

CasaPound, a revamped third-millennium fascist association that openly supports Benito Mussolini (1883-1945), has grown in Italy as the economy slows and unemployment rises.

CasaPound derives its name from USAmerican poet Ezra Pound (1885-1972), who embraced Mussolini’s fascist regime in World War 2.

As Europe’s economic problems worsen how many of these types of far-right killers who blame immigrants for  their problems will appear and kill innocent victims? How many far-right parties like CasaPound will give them their ideological ticket to commit such crimes?

Killed two, injured three more. What worries me were some of the official comments made in response.

    – Giorgio Napolitano condemned the “blind explosion of hatred”.

There was nothing ‘blind’ about it – it targeted black traders from Senegal. He did also call for an end to intolerance. But even the word ‘tolerance’ pisses me off. You tolerate a bad smell, a bad situation. The implication is that it’s bad, but you just have to accept it. We need full acceptance, not tolerance. Fat chance though, especially with the Far Right constantly pushing for this ‘war’ against immigration.

And then Florence’s mayor, Matteo Renzi said:

    – “These are the actions of a lone killer – a lucid, mad and racist killer,”

So, we all just have to forget this ‘loner’, who was lucid and mad first, and a racist only last. Working alone? As you pointed out, Enrique, he belonged to Casapound, that rats nest of fascists and racists, among others no doubt.

Why don’t people who are members of the world wildlife fund would go out on a killing rampage against animals. I mean, if there are so members, there are bound to be one or two nutters? And yet it’s unheard of. That’s because the WWF does not breed hatred, while Far Rights groups quite clearly do.

“Race! It is a feeling, not a reality: ninety-five percent, at least, is a feeling. Nothing will ever make me believe that biologically pure races can be shown to exist today. […] National pride has no need of the delirium of race.” – Benito Mussolini

So, at least I wouldn’t say that Mussolini can be called as racist or can be blamed if some maniac uses him as an “excuse” for racist attacks.

There is no excuse for these killings. The mentality (world-wide) seems to evoke a “I DON*T GIVE A S…… ABOUT HUMAN LIFE”.See Kauhajoki!! A lone killer!! Really true??

People like Mussolini didn’t care about killing people And words are easily spoken!! . So, don’t defend a person who saw no problem in cooperation with Nazi-Germany and its destructive policies towards “non-Arian” people.

And….. his nowadays followers have no problems of killing people in his name or memory. He remains responsible for creating the climate of hate!! As if you would deny Neonazism has nothing to do with Hitler and his gang. Better inform yourself using the documentation of the Nuernberg Trials.
